Vision for Education are recruiting for Teacher of Drama & Performing Arts for a secondary school based in Lancaster to start October 2025.

The role

This is a full time role but the school would be happy to consider applications from someone with part time availability up to 3 days per week.


The successful candidate will have Qualified Teacher Status in the UK and experience of teaching Drama & Performing Arts at KS3 and KS4 level.

This role will start October 2025 and will be ongoing with no determined end date.  There may also be a requirement to teach some Key Stage 3 English classes, but support and resources would be provided.

Requirements

To be considered for the Drama & Performing Arts Teacher role you must:

  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Have some knowledge or previous experience of Key Stage 3 (KS3) and Key Stage 4 (KS4)
  • Be adaptable and flexible
  • Have a genuine desire to become part of a committed team of school staff
