Working for a leading care provider dedicated to delivering exceptional support and services to individuals in need, we are seeking a Care Team Leader to join their team. They provide support and care to people with dementia, respite care and this opportunity is based at their award winning care home in Lancaster.



The role:



  • To lead and manage a team of care staff to ensure high standards of care are delivered.



  • Develop and implement individual care plans tailored to residents' needs.



  • Conduct regular assessments and reviews of residents' care and support requirements.



  • Provide training, support, and supervision to team members.



  • Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and company policies.



  • Foster a positive and engaging environment for residents and staff.



  • Act as a point of contact for residents, families, and external agencies.



  • Monitor and manage budgets and resources effectively.



  • Participate in the recruitment and onboarding of new staff members.



  • Promote a culture of continuous improvement within the care team.



Ideal Requirements:



  • NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care or equivalent qualification.



  • Proven experience in a leadership role within adult services.



  • Strong understanding of care regulations and best practices.



  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.



  • Ability to motivate and inspire a team, with knowledge of managing finance and budgets



  • Commitment to professional development, with flexibility to work on a 2 week rolling rota 8am - 6pm including weekends
