Behaviour Support Worker - Preston:

Prospero Teaching are currently looking for a calm and resilient behaviour support worker to join a lovely school in the Preston area.

The Role:

  • Offering individualised support to children with SEN and SEMH needs
  • Collaborating with the class teachers, and external agencies to monitor progress
  • Support pupils with Autism, ADHD and challenging behaviours

Position Details:

  • Location: Preston
  • Position: Behaviour Support Worker
  • Hours: 8:15am-3:15pm, Mon-Fri
  • Type of Work: Temporary
  • Full time/Part time: Full time only
  • Minimum Rate of Pay: £105 per day, depending on experience
  • Start date: ASAP
  • End date: Ongoing

Experience, Training & Qualifications:

  • Up to date Safeguarding training within the last year (desired but training can be provided)
  • A Teaching Assistant or equivalent qualification is desired
  • Revelant experience of supporting SEN and SEMH
  • Resilience and adaptability in supporting student's learning and wellbeing
  • Team Teach training would be highly desired

ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:

  • Hold Right to Work in the UK
  • Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
  • Provide two professional child related references that cover the last two years
