Our SEN Tutors play a vital role in supporting students with complex Special Educational Needs (SEN) by helping to bridge learning gaps and unlock potential. This includes working with learners with Autism, ADHD, SEMH (Social, Emotional and Mental Health) needs, and those functioning below expected academic levels.

Key Responsibilities
Deliver personalised 1:1 Maths and English sessions tailored to individual SEN learning profiles.
Adapt lesson content, structure, and pace to accommodate diverse learning styles and support emotional regulation.
Support students in developing subject knowledge, study skills, and confidence in preparation for exams.
Build a consistent, trusting relationship to ensure a safe, positive, and supportive learning environment.
Monitor and track progress, providing clear and constructive feedback to parents/carers or relevant professionals when required.
Essential Requirements
Proven experience working with learners with SEN in a one-to-one or small group setting.
The right to work in the UK.
An Enhanced DBS check, or willingness to obtain one.
Desirable Qualifications and Experience
PGCE in Secondary Education and/or Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
Experience supporting learners with Autism, ADHD, and/or SEMH needs.
