Class 2 Driver

Driver Hire Brighton & Eastbourne is recruiting skilled and reliable Class 2 (Category C) Drivers for our clients in the region. This role offers a fantastic variety of work, including multi-drop deliveries, warehouse trunking, and building materials distribution. What you'll need:

• A valid Full UK Cat C (Class 2) Licence

• Valid Driver CPC qualification

• A valid Digital Tachograph Card

• A positive, professional attitude and a strong focus on safety

• Excellent timekeeping and navigation skills

• Previous experience in a multi-drop or delivery driving role is preferred

• Proof of Right to Work in the UK (Passport or other relevant documents)

• No more than 6 points on your licence and no DR10 endorsements

About the role:

• Operating a Class 2 rigid lorry safely and professionally on designated routes.

• Performing multi-drop deliveries, warehouse trunking, or other logistics work as required.

• Conducting thorough vehicle checks (defect sheets) and reporting any maintenance issues.

• Ensuring all deliveries are made on time and to the correct location.

• Adhering to all Drivers' Hours and Working Time Directive regulations.

• Liaising with the transport office and customers in a professional manner.

• Manual handling of goods may be required (Training provided).
