The school strives to provide excellent quality education to all students, empowering them to reach their full potential academically, regardless of ability. The school is a 2-form entry with a Forest School that is available to all pupils.

We are looking to appoint a dedicated and passionate SEN Teacher to work 2-1 with a KS2 pupil with Autism along with a SEN TA.

About the role:

This role is for a SEN Teacher with a genuine passion for delivering excellent quality education to a Year 4 student with complex needs. Part of the learning will take place in a SEN Unit but the student also does their own thing and learning is student lead

The right candidate will be supportive and empathetic and committed to provide consistency allowing them to build a great rapport and relationship with the student ensuring the students receives the encouragement they nee.. This is a full-time temporary role, with the vision to turn permanent for the right candidate.

The candidate:

· Experience of working with SEN children is essential

· Ability to assess individual needs to establish strengths and weaknesses

· Strong classroom and behaviour management

· Effective communication skills

· Patience and empathy

· Adaptability to meet diverse student needs
