37 hours per week Day Shift : Monday - Thursday: 07:30 - 15:30, Friday 07:00 - 14:30.
The role would suit applicants who are experienced with counterbalance forklift and reach truck operation, along with stores duties such as goods in/out, picking, packing and kit assembly. It is essential that you hold a valid counterbalance forklift/reach truck licence. Applicants will ideally have experience working in an engineering, manufacturing or production environment. Candidates with SAP experience will have a considerable advantage and are encouraged to apply.
Working within a busy stores environment, you will ultimately be responsible for forklift operations, stock inventory control and supporting the goods in/out process. As part of your role you will get involved in booking in goods, putting away stock, picking/packing, assembling kits and recognising mechanical/electrical/electronic components. You will work within a large production facility within a friendly and supportive team environment.
The Role:
*Operating counterbalance forklift/reach truck to move goods
*Stock inventory control and stock checking
*Signing for and booking in goods on the computer (SAP experience advantageous)
*Putting goods into their correct locations
*Picking/packing and assembling kits
*Following instructions and working to H&S guidelines
*Fixed day and late shifts available
The Person:
*Must hold a valid counterbalance forklift/reach truck licence
*Will ideally have previous stores/warehouse experience in manufacturing or industrial environments
*Will ideally have SAP data entry experience
*Must be confident with computer literacy and high attention to detail
*Candidates who can recognise mechanical/electrical/electronic components will have a considerable advantage and are encouraged to apply.
