About the Role
Supply Desk is working closely with a highly regarded Special Needs School in Blandford, Dorset, that provides dedicated support for students with a range of additional needs. The school is seeking a full-time SEN Teaching Assistant to support primary and secondary students across the curriculum, with a particular focus on English and Maths.
You will be working with small groups of around 5–10 students, supporting their learning and development in a nurturing environment. This is a rewarding opportunity for someone who is passionate about helping young people with SEN reach their full potential.

- Experience working with students with SEN, ideally Autism and Asperger’s, in an educational setting.
- Strong understanding of the primary and secondary curriculum.
- Patience, empathy, and excellent communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with teachers and other professionals to create a positive learning environment.
- Passionate about supporting students with additional needs to achieve success.
- Flexible and adaptable, with the ability to respond to individual student needs.
