Are you passionate about making a real difference in the lives of people living with dementia? Oaklea Dementia Care Unit, a newly refurbished 26-bed specialist unit within Ashlea Court Care Home, is looking for dedicated Night Carers to join our close-knit team. As part of Willinbrook Healthcare, the specialist dementia division of Care Concern Group, Oaklea provides personalised, compassionate care in a calm, structured, and homely environment for residents with cognitive needs.

What We Offer

• £12.70 per hour
• 24–44 hours per week (Full-Time & Part-Time)
• Paid PVG, uniform provided, pension scheme
• 5.6 weeks annual leave (pro-rata for part-time)

Your Role

As a Night Carer, you will provide personalised care for residents with cognitive challenges, supporting their dignity, comfort, and wellbeing. This includes:

• Assisting with personal care, mobility, nutrition, and hydration
• Observing and reporting any changes in residents’ physical or emotional health
• Supporting emotional wellbeing through meaningful communication and reassurance
• Maintaining a calm, structured, and dementia-friendly environment
• Encouraging engagement in activities that foster independence, connection, and enjoyment

Who We’re Looking For

• We welcome both experienced carers and those new to the care sector. You will be:
• Compassionate, patient, and committed to improving quality of life for people living with dementia
• A supportive team player, eager to learn and collaborate with nurses, colleagues, and families
• Experienced in care or healthcare environments is desirable but not essential
