Overview:
We are looking for a skilled Operations Manager to lead and optimise the delivery of renewable energy installations. This position requires a proactive leader with strong operational expertise in domestic projects and exceptional project management capabilities to ensure efficiency, compliance, and outstanding customer experience.
Responsibilities
Operational Oversight:
- Manage day-to-day operations and maintenance of renewable energy systems, ensuring consistent performance and adherence to best practices.
- Develop and implement installation schedules to maintain steady workflow for field teams.
- Track and analyse key performance indicators, identifying opportunities for process improvements and cost efficiencies.
Team Leadership:
- Lead and mentor a team of managers and installers, promoting a culture of safety, quality, and collaboration.
- Coordinate with internal departments and external partners to ensure smooth project delivery.
- Support recruitment, onboarding, and training to maintain high standards of competency.
Compliance & Safety:
- Enforce health and safety protocols and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and industry standards.
Client & Stakeholder Management:
- Serve as the main escalation point for customer concerns, ensuring timely resolution and satisfaction.
- Maintain strong communication with clients, suppliers, and regulatory bodies throughout project lifecycles.
Financial Control:
- Monitor budgets and operational costs, implementing strategies for cost savings and efficiency.
- Work closely with commercial teams to ensure contract compliance and risk mitigation.
Continuous Improvement:
- Drive initiatives to enhance operational processes and team performance.
Reporting:
- Maintain accurate documentation of activities, performance metrics, and installation data.
- Prepare regular reports for internal and external stakeholders on progress and outcomes.

- Proven experience in operations management within renewable energy or domestic installation sectors.
