Operations Manager

Overview:
We are looking for a skilled Operations Manager to lead and optimise the delivery of renewable energy installations. This position requires a proactive leader with strong operational expertise in domestic projects and exceptional project management capabilities to ensure efficiency, compliance, and outstanding customer experience.

Operational Oversight:

• Manage day-to-day operations and maintenance of renewable energy systems, ensuring consistent performance and adherence to best practices.
• Develop and implement installation schedules to maintain steady workflow for field teams.
• Track and analyse key performance indicators, identifying opportunities for process improvements and cost efficiencies.

Team Leadership:

• Lead and mentor a team of managers and installers, promoting a culture of safety, quality, and collaboration.
• Coordinate with internal departments and external partners to ensure smooth project delivery.
• Support recruitment, onboarding, and training to maintain high standards of competency.

Compliance & Safety:

• Enforce health and safety protocols and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and industry standards.

Client & Stakeholder Management:

• Serve as the main escalation point for customer concerns, ensuring timely resolution and satisfaction.
• Maintain strong communication with clients, suppliers, and regulatory bodies throughout project lifecycles.

Financial Control:

• Monitor budgets and operational costs, implementing strategies for cost savings and efficiency.
• Work closely with commercial teams to ensure contract compliance and risk mitigation.

Continuous Improvement:

• Drive initiatives to enhance operational processes and team performance.

Reporting:

• Maintain accurate documentation of activities, performance metrics, and installation data.
• Prepare regular reports for internal and external stakeholders on progress and outcomes.

• Proven experience in operations management within renewable energy or domestic installation sectors.
• Strong leadership and team development skills.
• Excellent organisational and project management abilities.
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations and compliance requirements.
• Effective communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Financial awareness and ability to manage budgets effectively.
