Hours: 8:30 - 3:30 Monday-Friday (Full-time)

Location: Launceston

Start date: Role to start as soon as onboarding is complete

Pay: £95 - £105 per day, dependant on experience - To be discussed upon registration

Long-Term Teachers are on the lookout for a Learning mentor with experience in SEN/SEMH to work at a wonderful school in Launceston working with children aged 4-16!

The Desired Candidate will have:

  • Experience working with children/Young people with special needs. (This could be in a school setting or within roles with transferable skills like care, youth work or coaching.)
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of strategies to support young people with both their studies and wellbeing
  • Understanding of additional needs including ASD, SEMH and ADHD.
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to work well as part of a team
