Maintenance Engineer required for a well-established food producer with a history of over 75 years. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking for a varied role with involvement in projects and continuous improvements. The company have doubled in size over the last five years and have exciting growth plans for the future.
This role would suit a qualified engineer with a mechanical, electrical or electronic bias. Candidates from any production background or similar are encouraged to apply. Ex-forces candidates will also be suited to the role.
The successful candidate will be joining a small team responsible for day-to-day maintenance of production equipment across two factories. You will carry out repair work and investigate route causes to implement corrective measures, as well as PPMs.
The company have exciting projects underway which this role will also play a key role within, offering a new challenge every day.
The Maintenance Engineer Role:
· Electrical and mechanical maintenance on production equipmen
· Repairs and cause analysis
· Installation of new equipment
· Support management of ongoing projects
· General factory facility maintenance
· Double Days shift pattern
· Emergency call out cover
The Maintenance Engineer Candidate:
· Electrically, mechanically, or electronically biased
· Hold a relevant engineering qualification
· Knowledge of PLCs
