Role Responsibilities
- Acting as a key contact for clients, delivering timely and commercial VAT planning advice
- Advising on complex issues relating to land, property transactions, and international VAT
- Supporting colleagues across departments with high-level VAT guidance
- Managing VAT planning assignments, HMRC enquiries, and technical project work
- Supervising and mentoring junior team members, including training and reviewing work
- Participating in and contributing to challenging advisory projects that promote your technical development
- Supporting clients in specialist sectors including education and not-for-profit

Candidate Requirements
- Strong background in VAT advisory work, particularly in land/property and international VAT
- Experience managing VAT planning, enquiries, and client relationships
- Indirect tax or VAT specialist experience within practice or industry
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- CTA qualified or working towards qualification (desirable, not essential)
- A flexible, solution-focused approach with a genuine interest in developing others
