Accounting Clerk (Part-time)

  • £13 per hour
  • 15 hours per week, Monday to Friday
  • Office-based in Leamington Spa

Are you a detail-oriented and organised finance professional looking for a flexible part-time opportunity? We are currently recruiting for an experienced Accounting Clerk to support a busy finance function in Leamington Spa. This role would suit someone who enjoys working with numbers, has strong attention to detail, and is confident using Xero accounting software.

Key Responsibilities of Accounting Clerk:

  • Perform general admin.
  • Checking TA, lease documents and recording the information on them to ensure the correct rentals are being received.
  • Maintain accurate financial records using Xero and Excel.
  • Process all incoming and outgoing transactions including costs and income.
  • Assist with preparing financial reports and statements.
  • Reconcile bank statements and investigate discrepancies as required.
  • Support the month-end and year-end close.
  • Respond to invoice, payment, and account balance queries.
  • Ensure compliance with internal policies and financial regulations.

Requirements of Accounting Clerk:

  • Previous experience in an Accounting Clerk or similar finance role.
  • Confident user of Xero – essential.
  • Solid understanding of general accounting principles and accounts payable processes.
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Able to manage your workload independently while contributing to a team.
  • Strong organisational and communication skills.
