We are looking for skilled Machine Operators/press Operators/CNC to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong experience in operating various machinery. This role requires attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. The Machine Operator will be responsible for ensuring that machinery operates smoothly and safely while producing high-quality products.
THIS ROLE CAN INVOLVE WORKING A ROTATING SHIFT SYSTEM TO INCLUDE 2PM to 10PM.
Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor machinery, including power press machines, CNC machines and laser machines, ensuring optimal performance.
- Producing high quality parts to specification.
- Handle materials safely and efficiently, ensuring proper storage and organisation.
- Collaborate with team members to improve production processes and resolve any operational issues.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to health and safety regulations.
- Document production activities accurately, including machine settings and output quality.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Machine Operator or in a similar role within a manufacturing environment.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to understand logic controllers and tooling systems.
- Experience with materials handling techniques is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
Job Types: Full-time, Temporary
Contract length: ongoing
Pay: £14.03-£15.63 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 39 per week
