Business Development Consultant

Location: Home-based (MUST LIVE in South Warwickshire, Oxfordshire, or Cotswolds)
Salary: £28,000 – £35,000 basic + uncapped commission (realistic OTE £35,000–£55,000, top performers £65,000+)
Hours: Monday to Friday, 9am – 5pm

What you’ll do as a Business Development Consultant

  • Identify and engage decision-makers across local and national businesses
  • Understand their hiring challenges and present effective recruitment solutions
  • Negotiate terms, build long-term relationships, and manage your sales pipeline
  • Work to clear, realistic KPIs and revenue targets
  • Collaborate with the wider team to ensure smooth delivery and repeat business

What you’ll bring as a Business Development Consultant

  • A track record in B2B sales (ideally in SaaS, media, property, events, or professional services)
  • Commercial awareness and confidence speaking to senior stakeholders
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills
  • The ability to work independently, manage your own workload, and stay driven
  • A professional approach — someone who values long-term client relationships, not one-off deals
 

What you’ll get as a Business Development Consultant

  • £28,000 – £35,000 basic salary, depending on experience
  • Uncapped commission — realistic earnings:
    • £35k+ in your first year
    • £40k–£50k once established
    • £65k+ for top billers
      Our commission structure starts at 5% and rises up to 20%, with no caps or moving goalposts — when you perform, you see it directly in your pay.
  • Full home-working setup with CRM, job boards, and LinkedIn Recruiter access
