About the Role:
As a Senior Architectural Technician, you will be responsible for leading projects through all RIBA stages, from technical design to on-site delivery. You'll manage client relationships, coordinate with consultants and contractors, and ensure that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest technical standards.
This is a fully office-based role, ideal for professionals who thrive in a collaborative studio environment. The practice offers a friendly, supportive culture and a strong pipeline of exciting work across the UK.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and run architectural projects from inception to completion
Produce detailed technical drawings and construction documentation
Liaise with clients, consultants, and contractors throughout the project lifecycle
Ensure compliance with UK Building Regulations and industry standards
Coordinate design packages and manage project timelines and budgets
Support and mentor junior team members
Required Skills & Experience:
Minimum 8 years of experience in architectural practice
Strong technical knowledge and detailing ability
Proven experience in job-running and project coordination
Sector experience in Mixed Use, Hospitality, Education, and Commercial projects
Proficiency in Vectorworks preferred (training can be provided)
Thorough understanding of UK Building Regulations
Excellent communication and organisational skills
