Day rate: 450pd-550pd (Outside IR35)

Contract: 12-18 months

Location: Warwickshire (2 days per week onsite)

We are currently working with an established and well-known organisation who require a SQL DBA, to work on a large-scale migration project, which is expected to run well into 2027. The client is mobilising a Records Management System (RMS) Replacement Programme. This is anticipated to be one of the largest and most complex change programmes the client has undertaken for many years.

The role is critical to ensuring the stability, performance, security, and availability of SQL Server environments supporting Niche, data migration activities, and associated integrations. You will deliver DBA services at pace to support programme milestones and requirements.

Skills and experience required:

  • Strong hands-on experience as a Microsoft SQL Server DBA
  • Expertise in performance tuning, indexing, and query optimisation
  • Experience with high availability and disaster recovery solutions
  • Strong understanding of SQL security, encryption, and auditing
  • Experience supporting large-scale transactional systems
  • Familiarity with Niche RMS/Mark43 RMS database requirements
  • Experience working in public sector or policing environments (desirable)

Due to the sensitive nature and timeframe of the role, the successful candidate must currently hold NPPV3 clearance and be willing to travel 2 days per week onsite to Warwickshire. Please consider these factors before applying for the role.
