Job Title: Counterbalance Forklift Driver

Shift: Afternoon Shift - 13:00 to 21:15, Monday to Friday
Reports To: Warehouse Supervisor / Operations Manager
Job Overview:
We are seeking a reliable and skilled Counterbalance Forklift Driver to join our warehouse team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of a counterbalance forklift to load, unload, move, and stack materials. This role is essential to ensuring smooth warehouse operations, accurate stock handling, and maintaining a clean and safe working environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate a counterbalance forklift safely and efficiently to move materials throughout the warehouse.
Load and unload goods from delivery vehicles and storage areas.
Stack and organize stock in accordance with warehouse layout and safety procedures.
Support goods in/out processes, ensuring accurate and timely handling of materials.
Assist in inventory management and ensure accurate stock records are maintained.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment, including regular housekeeping tasks.
Conduct pre-shift safety checks on forklift and report any defects or issues.
Comply with all health and safety regulations and company policies.
Assist with general warehouse tasks as required, including packing, labeling, and moving stock.
Work collaboratively with warehouse colleagues and supervisors to meet operational targets.
Requirements:
Valid Counterbalance Forklift license.
Proven experience operating a forklift in a warehouse or industrial environment.
Strong understanding of health and safety regulations in a warehouse setting.
Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining accuracy.
Good physical fitness and the ability to lift/move heavy items as needed.
Strong teamwork and communication skills.
