Freight Forwarder based in Leamington Spa, Warwickshire, is looking to recruit an experience Road Freight Groupage Operator.
The purpose of the role is tocoordinate and consolidate shipments, planning routes, handling all relevantdocumentation, and communicating with customers, suppliers, and overseas partners.
Daily duties
- Groupage operations for both import and export consignments
- Coordinate with drivers, subcontractors, and in-house fleets for collections and deliveries.
- Prepare and process all necessary road freight documents, such as CMRs, PODs, and customs declarations.
- Ensure compliance with UK and EU transport regulations.
- Act as the main point of contact for customers, suppliers, and overseas partners.
- Provide quotes and negotiate rates.
- Monitor and track shipments, providing timely updates to customers.
- Liaise with internal teams to ensure smooth operations
The role will be coveringBenelux, Italy, Turkey, Morocco markets, so experience within these would be an advantage, however not essential.
Candidates must have at least 2 years experience within Groupage Road Freight, and have excellent customer service skills.
