Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Deputy Manager to join our team in Leamington Spa. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in care management and demonstrate a high level of care knowledge. Key responsibilities include supporting the Care Home Manager in day-to-day operations, ensuring high standards of care, and managing staff effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the overall management of the care home, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations and care standards.
- Oversee and support the care team, providing leadership and guidance to ensure excellent care delivery.
- Manage staff schedules, provide cover, and handle emergencies as needed, including working outside normal hours.
- Conduct regular assessments of care practices and implement improvements as necessary.
Qualifications and Experience:
- NVQ Level 3 in Care or other relevant qualification.
- Proven experience in managing staff within a Care Home or similar environment.
- Strong leadership skills and the ability to motivate and manage a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Requirements:
- Flexibility to alternate working patterns and provide cover during emergencies.
- A comprehensive understanding of care home operations and high-level care knowledge.
