About the Role:

My client is currently seeking a Legal Secretary o join the Private Client department in their Leamington Spa office. This is a full-time opportunity within a Legal 500 firm. The successful candidate will provide full secretarial and administrative support to multiple Fee Earners, supporting the team with a varied workload, including Wills, Powers of Attorney, and Estate Administration.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide typing and secretarial support to multiple Fee Earners within the Private Client Department
  • Handle client calls, liaise with Fee Earners, and arrange appointments
  • Greet clients in Reception and ensure a professional and courteous experience
  • Carry out conflict checks and assist with new client file opening procedures
  • Maintain and update filing systems, both paper-based and digital
  • Prepare invoices and cost schedules under Fee Earner supervision
  • Provide general administrative support as required, including reception cover when needed
  • Handle sensitive client matters with professionalism and discretion

About You:

  • Minimum of 1 year's experience working in a Private Client Department, including exposure to Wills, Powers of Attorney, and Estate Administration
  • Proficient keyboard skills and confident using Microsoft Outlook and Word
  • Friendly and professional with a proactive, dynamic approach
  • Strong communication and organisational skills
  • Team player with a flexible and adaptable mindset
  • Able to manage sensitive situations and maintain confidentiality
