Senior Assembly Technician Responsibilities:

Assembling complex gearbox, axle, and hydraulic systems to build plans and specifications
Conducting end-of-line testing and ensuring compliance with quality standards
Supporting team leaders with planning, productivity, and task allocation
Leading or contributing to continuous improvement and quality investigations (8D)
Training and mentoring team members to ensure consistent assembly standards
Using measurement equipment (verniers, micrometers, etc.) for inspection tasks

Senior Assembly Technician Requirements:

Proven experience in mechanical assembly, ideally within gearboxes, axles, or powertrain systems
Skilled in reading and working from engineering drawings and build plans
Confident using precision measurement tools
Familiar with problem-solving techniques and supporting quality processes
Comfortable training others and sharing knowledge within the team
Strong attention to detail, good time management, and commitment to health & safety
