Senior Assembly Technician Responsibilities:
  • Assembling complex gearbox, axle, and hydraulic systems to build plans and specifications
  • Conducting end-of-line testing and ensuring compliance with quality standards
  • Supporting team leaders with planning, productivity, and task allocation
  • Leading or contributing to continuous improvement and quality investigations (8D)
  • Training and mentoring team members to ensure consistent assembly standards
  • Using measurement equipment (verniers, micrometers, etc.) for inspection tasks
Senior Assembly Technician Requirements:
  • Proven experience in mechanical assembly, ideally within gearboxes, axles, or powertrain systems
  • Skilled in reading and working from engineering drawings and build plans
  • Confident using precision measurement tools
  • Familiar with problem-solving techniques and supporting quality processes
  • Comfortable training others and sharing knowledge within the team
  • Strong attention to detail, good time management, and commitment to health & safety
