In this role, your gearbox assembly experience will be crucial, as you'll be entrusted with building and testing complex systems that power elite-level performance.

• Assembling and testing complex mechanical and hydraulic systems, with a strong focus on gearbox and axle builds

• Using precision measurement tools such as verniers and micrometers to ensure flawless accuracy

• Supporting the team leader to prioritise workload and meet demanding build schedules

• Applying structured problem-solving techniques (e.g. 8D methodology) to eliminate defects and drive continuous improvement

• Sharing expertise to help train others, raising the bar on build standards across the team

• Working collaboratively across departments to improve efficiency and product quality

• Proven experience assembling gearboxes – whether from motorsport, aerospace, defence, or high-performance automotive environments

• Strong mechanical aptitude and a deep understanding of precision assembly practices

• Confidence using tools and interpreting technical drawings with accuracy

• A steady, focused approach to tight deadlines and high-spec builds

• A commitment to health, safety, and quality standards

• A collaborative mindset with a passion for continuous improvement and technical excellence
