We are looking for a friendly, professional, and highly organized Receptionist to join on a temporary basis until the end of the academic year. You will be the first point of contact for visitors and callers, providing a warm welcome and efficient administrative support. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a dynamic environment and has excellent communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:- Greet and assist visitors in a courteous and professional manner
- Answer and direct incoming phone calls
- Manage the reception area to ensure it is tidy and presentable
- Handle incoming and outgoing mail and deliveries
- Maintain visitor logs and issue visitor passes
- Provide administrative support to staff as required
- Schedule appointments and manage meeting room bookings
- Ensure compliance with safeguarding procedures at all times
- Previous experience in a receptionist or administrative role preferred
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Friendly, approachable, and professional
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Enhanced DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) check is essential
