The Role
As the lead for establishing a newly created Business Development function targeting the construction sector, responsibilities will include developing and executing a go-to-market strategy to drive growth and brand awareness within the industry. This role involves identifying and qualifying new business opportunities, building strategic relationships with key stakeholders such as contractors, developers, and procurement teams, and shaping value propositions tailored to the construction market. You will also be responsible for setting up internal processes, defining KPIs, and working closely with the Managing Director to drive further growth for the business.
The Candidate
The ideal candidate for this role will be a self-starter with a strong track record in business development, ideally within or adjacent to the construction sector. You should possess deep industry insight, a commercial mindset, and the ability to navigate complex sales cycles involving multiple stakeholders. Strong interpersonal and communication skills are key, along with being a results-oriented individual who thrives in an entrepreneurial environment and can bring structure, energy, and vision to a newly formed function.
