We are seeking a passionate and imaginative Art Teacher in Leamington spa to join our team on a part-time basis, delivering engaging and inspiring art sessions for our learners. This is a fantastic opportunity for a creative individual who loves working with young people and is looking for a flexible role within a supportive and nurturing environment.
About the Role as an Art teacher in Leamington Spa:
- Hours: 2 hours per day (Monday to Friday with some weekend work available)
- Location: Leamington Spa
- Start Date: May 2025
- Additional Work: Occasional paid overtime available for events, workshops, and exhibitions
Key Responsibilities as an Art teacher:
- Plan and deliver fun, inclusive, and educational art sessions tailored to a variety of abilities and age groups
- Encourage creativity, self-expression and confidence through visual arts
- Maintain a positive and engaging classroom environment
- Support and guide students in preparing work for displays and occasional exhibitions or events
Person Specification for the role in Leamington spa:
- A strong background in Art and/or Design - formal teaching qualifications (QTS) not required
- Experience working with children or young people is highly desirable
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Enthusiastic, reliable, and flexible in approach
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
