Our client is seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Tax Compliance Officer to join their team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, where you will be responsible for ensuring the company's adherence to tax laws and regulations. With your expertise in tax compliance, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the financial integrity of the organisation.

Responsibilities of the Tax Compliance Officer

  • PAYE Compliance: Ensure compliance with Pay As You Earn (PAYE) regulations, including accurate and timely payroll tax filings.
  • VAT Compliance: Manage Value Added Tax (VAT) compliance, including preparation and submission of VAT returns.
  • Tax Regulation Adherence: Play a critical role in the team to ensure adherence to all relevant tax regulations and guidelines.
  • Risk Mitigation: Identify and mitigate tax risks through thorough analysis and implementation of best practices.
  • Analytical Tasks: Conduct detailed tax analysis and reporting to support strategic decision-making.
  • Support the CFO: Provide comprehensive support to the Chief Financial Officer in all tax-related matters.

What the successful candidate will bring

  • Professional qualification in tax or accounting (CTA, ACCA, ACA) is preferred.
  • Proven experience in tax compliance.
  • Strong knowledge of PAYE and VAT regulations.
