We are currently working with a fantastic organisation currently seeking an experienced Senior Payroll Specialist on a Part Time basis to join them on an FTC until October 2026.

This role will be 24 hours per week, split across three working days.

As Senior Payroll Specialist, you will report into the Payroll Manager and work alongside another Senior in the team, hands on processing of end-to-end payrolls & supporting with junior team members.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process end to end, inhouse UK payroll on a monthly basis
  • Calculation of all statutory payments including SSP, SMP, SPP, SAP & SHPP
  • Maintenance of Tax and NI records
  • Provide guidance to junior team members & conducting secondary checks on payrolls
  • Carry out reconciliations on payrolls
  • Process adjustments such as overpayments and ad hoc payments, ensuring HMRC receive the correct data

Experience required:

  • Excellent UK in-house payroll expeirence
  • Confidence working within a high volume payroll environment
  • Experience working within a similar senior level role
  • Experience of Oracle or SAP is desirable

This role offers the flexibility for remote working - with ad hoc travel to the Havant office.
