About the Role
We are looking for a Quality Assurance Specialist to join our Advanced Detection Systems team. This role is critical in ensuring world-class standards for our RTT X-ray systems used in security screening. You'll work across engineering, production, suppliers, and service teams to maintain compliance and drive continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute QA strategies to meet industry standards and customer requirements.
- Support product development and engineering with quality input.
- Manage internal audits, corrective actions, and third-party/customer audits.
- Maintain ISO9001 Quality Management System and calibration processes.
- Investigate quality issues, lead root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions.
- Support New Product Introduction (NPI) and Engineering Change Orders (ECO).
- Liaise with suppliers for inspections and incoming quality checks.
- Lead Customer Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT).
Requirements
- Degree or equivalent in Quality, Engineering, or Electronics preferred.
- Quality Auditor certification.
- 3-5 years' experience in Quality Assurance (electromechanical environment preferred).
- Strong knowledge of ISO9001 QMS requirements.
- Experience with mechanical measuring equipment (CMM or FARO arm advantageous).
- Familiarity with Lean, Six Sigma, 8D, SPC, and structured problem-solving techniques.
- Ability to read technical drawings; GD&T knowledge is a plus.
- ERP experience (D365 preferred) and proficiency in Office365.
