This leading main contractor has an immediate requirement for a Design Manager to join their Southern region on a freelance basis for a minimum of 12 months.

Having been successful on winning two new education projects they have a need for a Design Manager with similar Tier 1 main contracting experience, as well as schools, university and other education contracts. This is part of the DfE framework so if you have worked within that before it would be highly advantageous.

You could work on a daily rate basis or a fixed term contract directly, which could evolve into a permanent role.  Your working week as Design Manager will be between the two sites below, the office and remotely from home.

The projects you will be involved with are a £22m new build school in Redhill, Surrey and a £10m extension to an existing secondary school in Guildford, Surrey.

As a Design Manager for this leading Tier 1 business, you will have relevant experience and may be from either a production or architectural background. A UK construction qualification is essential for this company.
