About the RoleYou’ll be joining an established NSI Gold and BAFE-approved Fire & Security company, delivering high-quality CCTV and Access Control installations across London and the South East, including Kent, Sussex, and Surrey.
This role focuses primarily on installing and commissioning IP-based CCTV and Access Control systems, with occasional involvement in Intruder and Fire systems when required. You’ll take ownership of installations from first fix to final handover, ensuring all work meets NSI standards and manufacturer specifications.
Most projects involve small to medium commercial sites, residential developments, and educational or healthcare environments. You’ll work both independently and as part of a skilled installation team.
• Installing and commissioning IP and Analogue CCTV systems
• Installing Access Control and Door Entry systems
• Integrating systems with networks and configuring remote access
• Working to NSI codes of practice and company quality standards
• Liaising with customers and project managers to deliver on time and to specification
• Completing all documentation accurately (test sheets, commissioning certificates)
• Occasionally assisting with Intruder and Fire system installations when required
What You’ll Need• Proven experience installing CCTV and Access Control systems
• Knowledge of IP networking, switches, and configuration
• Experience with Paxton, TDSi, ACT, Hikvision, Dahua, Avigilon, or similar systems
• Understanding of cabling, containment, and commissioning processes
• Ability to read and interpret drawings and schematics
• Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
• Full, manual UK driving licence
• Excellent communication, organisation, and self-management skills
• Willingness to travel throughout London, Kent, Sussex, and Surrey
