Duties
- Lead and supervise the kitchen team, including chefs and kitchen assistants, to ensure efficient operations

- Oversee food preparation and cooking processes to guarantee consistency, quality, and presentation standards are met
- Manage food production, including ordering supplies, stock control, and minimising waste
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain high standards of hygiene across all kitchen areas
- Train and mentor staff to enhance their culinary skills and promote professional development
- Coordinate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service delivery
- Monitor kitchen operations during service hours to uphold efficiency and customer satisfaction

Experience
- Proven supervising experience within a professional kitchen environment, preferably in a restaurant or hospitality setting
- Extensive culinary experience with a strong background in food preparation, cooking, and food presentation
- Demonstrable team management skills with the ability to motivate and lead diverse groups of staff
- Knowledge of food safety standards and best practices in hygiene management
- Experience in menu development, food production, and managing kitchen operations under pressure
- Familiarity with restaurant service procedures and customer service excellence is desirable
- Previous hospitality experience that demonstrates leadership qualities and organisational skills
