Senior Gas Turbine Engineering Consultant


Location:South London(with occasional international travel)

Role Overview

  • Conduct detailed assessments and failure investigations of turbine components.

  • Provide technical advice to improve performance, reliability, and risk management.

  • Produce clear, high-quality reports and presentations.

  • Visit client sites in the UK and abroad as required.

Requirements

  • Degree in Engineering, Materials Science, or related field (PhD desirable).

  • Strong knowledge of gas/steam turbines and materials.

  • Experience in component assessments, failure investigations, and data analysis.

  • Excellent written/verbal communication and problem-solving skills.

  • Willingness to travel at short notice; driving licence preferred.

Desirable Expertise

  • Turbine material behaviour and degradation.

  • Life assessments and failure mechanism analysis.

  • Project management experience.

  • Proficiency with engineering software and MS Office.
