Role Overview:
Cast UK are supporting a growing business who are looking for a Sales Manager, you will be responsible for driving sales and revenue growth by identifying and pursuing new business opportunities within Multimodal freight sector prioritising the Air freight.
Leveraging your sales experience and industry knowledge, you will develop and maintain relationships with clients, negotiate contracts, and exceed sales targets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prospect, qualify, and close new business opportunities to achieve sales targets.
- Account Management and ownership of all accounts you win.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders.
- Manage a team of 3 BDEs while contributing to the financial performance of the team.
- Support your team with on site/in person sales meetings
- Fully understand client needs and offer tailored freight solutions to meet their specific requirements.
- Regularly attend on site sales and service meetings with your customers
- Negotiate contracts and agreements to secure new business partnerships.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless execution of client requirements.
- Keep abreast of industry trends, market developments, and competitor activities.
- Provide regular reports and updates on sales activities, pipeline, and forecasts.
- Attend exhibitions and trade shows to help promote your brand and to aid with effective networking.
Requirements:
- Proven track record of success in a sales role, preferably within the Air freight or logistics industry.
- Strong understanding of freight forwarding processes, services, and solutions.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with clients at all levels.
- Results-driven mindset with a focus on exceeding sales targets.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office suite.
- Experience using Cargowise would be significantly advantageous
Renumeration:
£45,000 - £55,000 (DOE) + Car Allowance + Uncapped Monthly Commission + Team Bonus
