  • Project Management: Lead the full project lifecycle from initiation to completion, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality benchmarks.
  • Team Leadership: Manage multidisciplinary teams, contractors, and subcontractors, fostering collaboration during execution and commissioning phases.
  • Engineering Design Review: Assess designs for feasibility, safety, and alignment with project objectives.
  • Client Liaison: Serve as the primary client contact, providing clear updates on milestones, risks, and progress while maintaining strong relationships.
  • Civil Works Coordination: Oversee site preparation, foundations, and infrastructure in collaboration with civil engineers.
  • Budget Control: Monitor expenditures, forecast costs, and mitigate financial risks to ensure projects remain within budget.
  • Schedule Management: Develop and track project timelines using tools like Microsoft Projects.
  • Risk Management: Proactively identify and resolve potential issues to minimise delays and cost overruns.
  • Compliance & Quality Assurance: Ensure adherence to CDM 2015, HSE regulations, and quality standards.
  • Reporting: Deliver regular updates to senior management on KPIs, progress, and challenges.
CHP Project ManagerRequirements:
  • Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical field.
  • Minimum 5+ years of project management experience, with a focus on CHP systems or similar power generation projects.
  • Strong understanding of CHP technologies, civil works (foundations, site prep), and multi-disciplinary engineering.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Projects; familiarity with AutoCAD/Revit (preferred).
  • Proven budget management, forecasting, and cost-control skills.
  • Excellent leadership, negotiation, and team motivation abilities.
  • In-depth knowledge of CDM 2015, health, safety, and environmental policies.
  • Analytical problem-solving skills and experience in resolving project challenges.
  • Experience with sustainable energy solutions and innovation in project delivery.
  • Professional certifications in project management (e.g., PRINCE2, PMP).
  • Proactive, self-motivated, and adaptable to changing project demands.
  • Client-focused with a commitment to delivering high-quality solutions.
  • Strong communicator with the ability to manage stakeholders at all levels.
