About the role
Seeking an experienced and proactive Contracts Manager to join our established team. This is a key leadership role responsible for the successful delivery of multiple construction projects, ensuring that they are completed on time, within budget and to the highest quality and safest standards.
Duties of the Contracts Manager
- Lead and oversee the delivery of multiple construction projects from pre-construction through to completion.
- Manage site teams and ensure effective communication between subcontractors, clients and stakeholders.
- Monitor progress, programme and budgetary performance, taking corrective actions where necessary.
- Ensure compliance with health & safety regulations and company policies.
- Conduct site visits, chair project meetings and provide regular progress reports to the Construction Director.
- Work closely with the wider team including, estimator, quantity surveyors, design managers, and the site team to ensure seamless project execution.
Requirements for the role
- Proven experience as a Contracts Manager or in a similar Senior Construction Management role.
- Strong technical knowledge across a variety of construction sectors, ideally within similar sectors as mentioned above and on projects up to 20million.
- Excellent leadership, organisation and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently
- Knowledge of current construction legislation and best practice
- Full UK driving license and willingness to travel to multiple sites when required.
