Hours-40hoursperweek8:00amto5:00pmwithanhourofbreaks/lunchperday

Experience:

Anidealcandidatewouldhaveundertakenapreviousroleinwoodworkingormetalworkingandwouldhaveworkedinafactoryenvironment.

Role:

  • Toworkinthewoodworkingdepartmentpreparingcurtainpolesandpelmetsforfinishing.
  • Taskswillincludecutting,routing,sandingandprecisemeasuring.
  • Needtobeabletoworkwithprecisionandattentiontodetailasallproductsarebespoke.
  • Manageownworkloadfromprintedworkliststoensureallordersarecompletedontime.
  • Preparationofbrass/metalforfinishingincludingsandblastingandpreparing
  • Workinthefinishingdepartmentsasrequired-assistingwithmetalpolishing,antiquingandwoodstaining/handfinishing
  • Opportunitytolearnskillsfromotherdepartmentsasdevelopinrole.

Skills:

  • Toexcelinthisrole,youshouldpossess:

Personality-Aselfmotivated,pro-activeworkerabletoshowinitiativewithgoodinterpersonalskillstoworkalongsideasmallteamofcolleagues.

Abilitytoworkindividuallyinagroupsetting-showinginitiativeandwithgoodattentiontodetail.

Woodworking-cuttingwithindustrialsaws,precisemeasuringandanglecutting.Creatingmitredjointsandrouting.
