About UsWe are excited to announce an opportunity for a passionate Early Years Practitioner or Unqualified Nursery Assistant to join our supportive nursery in Horsley, Surrey, KT24

We are an 'Outstanding’ children’s day nursery based in Horsley, Surrey. Our beautiful nursery facilities are spacious, purpose built and set in the midst of the countryside, we offer children the chance to grow and develop at one with nature. All our children, from the youngest baby to the most confident four-year-old, will benefit from the Montessori philosophy.

The successful candidate must be a dedicated practitioner who is motivated and passionate about providing an educational and stimulating environment to help children develop.

Early Years Practitioner or Unqualified Nursery Assistant BenefitsAs an Early Years Practitioner, you will enjoy:

Days/Hours:

  • 40 Hours / 8am - 6pm / 4 Days a week (flexible on set day off)

  • All Year / Permanent

Early Years Practitioner or Unqualified Nursery Assistant >Responsibilities

  • Promote positive relationships with parents, children, and colleagues
  • Working as part of a team creating an environment in which children's individual needs are met and high standards of care are provided.
  • Working alongside practitioners in supporting children's development, participating, planning and setting up activities for a range of children.
  • Developing successful relationships with children and their families.
  • Observing and tracking children's development and share this with parent/carers and other professionals.
  • Supporting children during mealtimes and toilet training.

About YouThe ideal candidate will:

  • Hold a minimum Level 2 qualification in Early Years (full and relevant)
  • Have previous experience as a nursery practitioner or similar role
  • Demonstrate a strong commitment to outdoor learning and inclusive practices
  • Possess excellent communication skills for interacting with parents and carers
  • Be eligible to work in the UK
