Senior Residential Conveyancer - SurreyLocation: Multiple offices -South West London / SurreyFull-time | PermanentCompetitive Salary + BenefitsA well-established, multi-office law firm with a strong presence in South West London and Surrey is seeking an experienced Senior Residential Conveyancer to join its growing Property department.This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified solicitor, legal executive, or licensed conveyancer with a minimum of five years' residential conveyancing experience to take on a senior role within a reputable and supportive legal practice.

The RoleThe successful candidate will handle a full and varied caseload of residential property transactions from instruction to post-completion. The position also involves mentoring junior team members, maintaining strong client relationships, and contributing to the overall performance and development of the team.Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing residential property files independently, including freehold and leasehold sales and purchases, transfers of equity, re-mortgages, and new builds
  • Advising clients with professionalism and clarity
  • Ensuring all work is compliant with regulatory and internal quality standards
  • Supporting and mentoring junior staff
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with referrers and third parties
  • Identifying opportunities for departmental development and growth

Candidate ProfileThe ideal candidate will:

  • Be a qualified Solicitor, Legal Executive or Licensed Conveyancer with at least 5 years' PQE in residential conveyancing
  • Possess strong technical knowledge and the ability to manage files with minimal supervision
  • Have excellent communication and client care skills
  • Be highly organised, proactive, and detail-oriented
  • Be confident in mentoring junior colleagues and promoting collaborative working
  • Demonstrate commercial awareness and a client-focused approach
