Job Title: Project Engineer (Automotive Chassis)
Location: Surrey (Hybrid Working)
Contract Type: 6-Month Initial Contract

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Engineer with a mechanical background and expertise in automotive chassis. This role offers a unique opportunity to work on cutting-edge projects and collaborate with a diverse range of stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and lead mechanical design projects, specifically focusing on automotive chassis, ensuring all technical and testing specifications are met.
- Utilize your expertise in Design Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (DFMEA) and Design for Manufacturing (DFM) to improve product development and reliability.
- Apply Catia design to oversee mechanical designs.
- Translate complex technologies into clear and actionable technical and testing specifications.
- Collaborate effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders, including a testing team based in Spain.
- Use Matlab and Excel for data analysis, project support, and process optimization.
- Proactively identify and resolve technical challenges to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Proven experience in mechanical design, with a strong understanding of DFMEA and DFM.
- Proficiency in Catia design software.
- Strong technical and analytical skills, with experience in Matlab and Excel.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
- Demonstrated proactive approach to problem-solving and project management.
- Specific experience in automotive chassis design and engineering.
