We are seeking a highly skilled Project Engineer with a mechanical background and expertise in automotive chassis. Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and lead mechanical design projects, specifically focusing on automotive chassis, ensuring all technical and testing specifications are met.
  • Utilize your expertise in Design Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (DFMEA) and Design for Manufacturing (DFM) to improve product development and reliability.
  • Apply Catia design to oversee mechanical designs.
  • Translate complex technologies into clear and actionable technical and testing specifications.
  • Collaborate effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders, including a testing team based in Spain.
  • Use Matlab and Excel for data analysis, project support, and process optimization.
  • Proactively identify and resolve technical challenges to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
  • Proven experience in mechanical design, with a strong understanding of DFMEA and DFM.
  • Proficiency in Catia design software.
  • Strong technical and analytical skills, with experience in Matlab and Excel.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated proactive approach to problem-solving and project management.
  • Specific experience in automotive chassis design and engineering.
