JOB DESCRIPTION

Are you a Band 6 Accuracy Checking Pharmacy Technician looking for a rewarding locum role in Surrey? We have an exciting opportunity for you!

  • Job Title: Accuracy Checking Pharmacy Technician Band 6

  • Location: Surrey, Private Hospital 

  • Duration: Ongoing contract

  • Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9am - 5pm with a 30-minute break

  • Start Date: May

  • End Date: Ongoing

  • Rate of Pay: £19-£26 per hour (via umbrella)

What You'll Be Doing:Join our client's team as an Accuracy Checking Technician and play a key role in supporting safe and effective medicine use. In this role, you will:

  • Perform final accuracy checks on dispensed medications

  • Ensure compliance with legal and professional standards

  • Support the pharmacy team in delivering a high-quality service

  • Liaise with pharmacists and other healthcare professionals

  • Maintain accurate records of dispensing activities

Requirements & Qualifications:To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A current and valid ACT qualification

  • Experience in a hospital pharmacy setting is preferred, but not essential

  • Strong attention to detail and organisational skills

  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities

  • A commitment to delivering high-quality patient care

Working Hours & Contract Duration:This role is Monday to Friday, 9am-5pm with a 30-minute break. The position is ongoing, with the potential for extension based on performance and service requirements.
