Key Account Manager required for this market leading manufacturer of specialist ventilation systems, field/home based covering Kent, Surrey, South London, Sussex, Hampshire, Dorset, Gloucester, South Wales and the South West with a real hub of activity in the Surrey/South London region, excellent long term career prospects selling into Distributors, Resellers, Builders Merchant and Plumbers Merchants, if you have sold to this route to market and have field sales experience then please get in touch ASAP!

The Role:

  • Your role is to sell the company's manufactured range of specialist ventilation products, this includes extract fans, mechanical ventilation with heat recovery and ducting products.
  • Field/home based covering Kent, Surrey, South London, Sussex, Hampshire, Dorset, Gloucester, South Wales and the South West.
  • Selling into Distributors, Resellers, Builders Merchant and Plumbers Merchants
  • 70% Account Management and 30% New Business
  • Well established region with more than £2M turn over
  • Field based 4 days a week and home based 1 day
  • Attending a minimum of 3 meeting a day when out in the field with our client expecting you to do prospecting on the way to and from calls
  • Great support from an internal sales team

The Person:

  • Must have field sales experience
  • You must have sold via Distributors/Builders Merchants/Plumbers Merchants
  • Able to journey plan and be proactive on route
  • Must be IT literate and happy using a CRM
  • Able to build a business plan
  • Can deal at all levels
