We are currently working in partnership with a Surrey based Local Authority, who are looking to appoint a Housing Performance and Insight Officer on a 3-month temporary basis.

This will be a full-time position of 37 hours per week with hybrid working (3 days home working per week). The rate of pay is either £282.17 per hour via an umbrella company or £220 PAYE including holiday.

The ideal candidate will have solid housing management experience including policy & strategy writing, gathering & analysing KPI data and producing reports for senior managers

Duties will include (but are not limited to):

  • Designing and delivering the housing services performance management framework
  • Delivering projects, interventions and initiatives and developing policies
  • Ensuring that enquiries and cases are managed and completed (within Specialist teams, Case Management and Customer Services)
  • Developing, reporting and monitoring performance & insight data and systems
  • Ensuring compliance with statutory regulations, legislation, professional codes of practice and adherence to council policy

Experience required:

  • Experience required in Housing Management
  • Experience of using performance data to position the business both from a regulatory and Public Relations perspective

Skills, knowledge and expertise required:

  • Performance management
  • Report writing
  • Housing legislation knowledge
