Nursery Nurse / Level 3 Nursery Practitioner - Leatherhead Area

Due to continued expansion, our client is offering fantastic opportunities for both permanent and temporary contracts, allowing you to contribute your skills and experience in a nurturing environment. This is the perfect role for a qualified level 3 Nursery practitioner who is looking to further their childcare career in early years education.

What's in in to for you?

You will be working within the nursery, providing high-quality care and education to a wide range of age groups, from babies through to preschool and school-aged children. You will need to be flexible and confident in adapting to different age groups and routines.

• Planning and implementing engaging and stimulating activities that promote children's learning and development in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
• Creating a safe, stimulating, and inclusive environment for all children.
• Building strong relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.
• Observing and assessing children's progress, and maintaining accurate records.
• Leading and supporting activities, both indoors and outdoors, fostering children's curiosity and love for learning.
• Ensuring the health, safety, and well-being of all children in your care.
• Contributing to the smooth running of the nursery, including meal times and general nursery duties.

What We're Looking For:

• A Level 3 qualification in Early Years Education, Childcare, or equivalent (newly qualified candidates will be considered).
• Experience working across a range of early years age groups is desirable.
• A genuine passion for working with children and a strong understanding of the EYFS framework.
• An enhanced child-barred DBS, dated within the last 3 years or registered on the Update Service.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• A caring, adaptable, and proactive approach to your work.
• The ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• A driving licence and access to a car (beneficial due to the clients location).
