My client within financial services, based in the Surrey area are recruiting proactive and detail-oriented Programming Support Analyst to join the Development and Data team.

In this role, you will support existing systems including bespoke reporting, SharePoint, MSS (Front Office, Activate, CSR, Frontline), Robotic Process Automation, and Datastore DSX.

Programming Support Analyst Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with users to gather and document business requirements from the MSS system and related platforms.
  • Develop and maintain programs interfacing with MSS and subsidiary systems using tools such as Oracle SQL, Microsoft SQL, Unix, C#, RPA, Datastore DSX, and more.
  • Test programs thoroughly prior to release, ensuring they meet specifications and user expectations.
  • Provide user support and training to help teams better understand and utilize the systems.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve software issues with in-house programs and third-party applications.
  • Collaborate with the IT Service Desk to resolve Sopra tickets efficiently

Programming Support Analyst Key Skills & Experience:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, able to engage effectively with both technical and business audiences at all levels.
  • A proactive, can-do attitude with strong attention to detail.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving abilities and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
  • A good understanding of the Sopra MSS system.
