About the Role

As a Student Support Assistant, you'll work directly with young people and adults with a wide range of support needs, including severe, complex, or moderate learning difficulties, disabilities, and behavioural challenges. Your support will be essential across a variety of sessions including GCSEs, A-levels, and Life Skills programmes.You will work in the classroom environment, supporting tutors and students by:

  • Promoting independent learning
  • Supporting behaviour and social development
  • Adapting materials to suit individual learning needs
  • Encouraging active participation and engagement

This role suits someone with empathy, patience, and a desire to see learners succeed. Prior experience in education or care settings is beneficial but not essential-we welcome individuals with the right values and motivation to support others.
