Motor Vehicle Technician

Our clients, an established dealership group in Croydon, Surrey, have a vacancy for an experienced Vehicle Service Technician to join their team.

The Role
As a Skilled vehicle Service Technician with a customer focused approach, you will be accustomed to working to the highest standards, resulting in a First Time Fix.

You will play a crucial role in diagnosing, repairing and servicing vehicles in line with manufacturer guidelines.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conducting routine maintenance tasks, including oil changes, brake inspections, and tyre rotations
• Diagnosing mechanical and electrical issues using diagnostic equipment
• Completing service and repair to work efficiently and accurately within specified timeframes
• Maintaining detailed records of all work carried out, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations

Requirements:

• Previous experience as a Vehicle Technician within a main Dealership or Independent Garage preferred.
• Relevant mechanical certifications and qualifications (NVQ Level 3 or equivalent)
• Strong diagnostic skills, with the ability to troubleshoot issues
• Excellent attention to detail and a methodical approach to work

Competitive basic salary ranging from 37,900 per annum, depending upon experience.

• Performance-related bonus scheme with the potential to achieve up to 51,800 per annum
• Working hours 8.30am to 5pm Monday to Friday and 8am to 2pm Saturday - 1 in 4 Rota (overtime)
