Key Responsibilities

Kitchen Operations & Team Support

Prepare and cook dishes to consistently high standards
Support and guide junior chefs during service
Participate in daily kitchen briefings and team communication
Help uphold a positive, collaborative, and quality-driven kitchen culture

Menu & Culinary Contribution

Assist in the creation of innovative, seasonal dishes
Maintain strong knowledge of culinary techniques and food safety
Support accurate recipe execution and portion consistency
Contribute ideas that reflect the venues connection to the land and produce

Operational Standards

Ensure timely preparation and delivery of all dishes
Maintain cleanliness, organization, and workstation readiness
Follow established SOPs to ensure efficiency and consistency
Work effectively under pressure during busy service periods

Health, Safety & Hygiene

Adhere to all food safety regulations and hygiene standards
Support daily and weekly cleaning routines
Maintain kitchen practices in line with regulatory guidelines

Team Development

Collaborate closely with peers to share knowledge and support learning
Demonstrate strong communication and teamwork skills
Participate in a culture of growth, professionalism, and continuous improvement

Performance Indicators

Quality and consistency of dishes produced
